G&L tech resources: Nuts & string retainers
The bar string retainer is exclusive to guitars built by G&L after 1997 with a Floyd Rose Tremolo system. In practice this means the Invader series and hence it appears on this 1997 Invader Plus test mule. Unlike other string retainers, it does not have a base or stud it is resting on; just 2 wood screws to push it down.
