Hi everybody,

For some inexplicable reason, at least to me, you have ended up on this website. Well, welcome to my world. And I hope you like guitars, because that is what this website is all about; nothing else is offered. More specifically, it is about my acoustic and electric guitars, basses, and amplifiers. Not necessarily to boast, although I am proud of my collection, but rather so there is a record of these beautiful pieces of art. Each story contains links to the manufacturers, links to sites that provide information on tonewood, specs, etc. and how the instrument or amp ended up in my collection. The main focus is on G&L guitars and basses, in particular the many flavors of the Broadcaster/ASAT (Special) (aka ‘The Real Ones’ as per a 1986 G&L ad) including the ASAT III/ASAT Z-3, ASAT Classic (and its many variants), and ASAT Deluxe/ASAT Junior, with excursions to other G&L models to tell the story of all the pickups Leo Fender designed after 1979. But there is a small collection of acoustic guitars and instruments built by the incomparable Paul Reed Smith too.
