G&L tech resources: Guards & shielding
Shown here are some spare plastic pickguard in the collection. Since plastic is a very good insulator, one needs to apply conductive tape to create shielding from RF interference. But as seen, many do not have any shielding on them except for the Skyhawk example below. The control cavity shielding section has a couple of examples of what it looks like on some production models.
